Live CD

The Live C supports all kinds of accessibility features

There is a [https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Accessibility/doc/StartGuide start guide] about accessibility on ubuntu (though a bit outdated as I'm writing this).

High Contrast

To enable Hight contrast, at the boot prompt, press F5, then two times arrow-down, then twice enter.

Magnification

To enable magnification, at the boot prompt, press F5, then two times arrow-down, then twice enter.

Speech Synthesis

To enable speech, at the boot prompt, press F5, then three times arrow-down, then twice enter.

Braille

The alternate CD automatically detects USB braille devices. For serial/bluetooth devices, press F6 and type (qwerty keyboard!)

brltty=driver,device,table

see brltty for more details.

Alternatively, at boot prompt, press F5, then four times arrow-down, then twice enter. You will be (visually) prompted for braille configuration.

Alternate CD

The alternate CD only supports braille.

The alternate CD automatically detects USB braille devices. For serial/bluetooth devices, press F6 and type (qwerty keyboard!)

brltty=driver,device,table

where driver, device, and table should be filed like with debian.

Installation then proceeds as usual.
